LFP, D&D 5e, every other weekend, starting March, details TBD

Welcome, welcome adventurers one-and-all. We're starting up another story - a tale of daring-do and high adventure and are looking for some new main characters! Information about the session. Campaign and logistical details : - Sessions will likely run from 4 to 5 hours every other week (most likely running on weekends), depending on player schedules and interest. - We will be playing D&D 5e - Starting level is TBD (based on player interest) - Playstyle (Role vs Roll, High vs Low magic, etc) will be based on player interest - Campaign setting will be homemade, unless the players decide they'd like to run something more standard (Dark Sun, Eberron, etc) Important : The campaign is operated on a pay-to-play basis of $15 per person, per session . We are currently running two pay-to-play sessions and have had exceptional results with this method. We've found that pay-to-play allows us to maintain a high level of art and narrative quality and encourages player consistency and involvement (see "What you get", below). If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about pay-to-play gaming, please send me a PM as we're trying to keep this thread reserved for inquiries related to the campaign. About me : There are several DMs behind this account; my name is Jeff, and I'll be your host for this campaign. I've been running and playing Dungeons and Dragons since 2nd edition, spending most of my time with 3rd, moving on to 4th, and have recently jumped into 5th edition. I have dabbled in other tabletop systems including Dungeon World, Apocalypse World, and Stars Without Number. It is my goal as a DM to work in conjunction with players to build a campaign set in a dynamic and reactive world which we can all enjoy. I do my best to run a game that meets all of the group members’ expectations while balancing the fact that we are all here to have fun playing a game. What you get : - Commitment . Not only from me, but also from the people you'll be playing with. Flaking sucks on either side of the GM screen and many a beautiful campaign has been ruined by scheduling and inconsistency. - Personalization . Not only will I tailor the campaign to your character, weaving your backstory into the fabric of the campaign, but I will also adapt the feel of the campaign to everyone's playstyle preference. Role vs Roll, Easy vs Challenging. We'll make it exactly what you want. - Guidance . If you're new to roleplaying, tabletop, dungeons and dragons or even 5e. We're available to answer any and all questions you might have. We can walk you through some of the more technical aspects of the game or act as a sounding board to bounce your creative ideas against. If you're interested in DMing, we can put aside some time to teach you how we DM. - Customization . Working with a paid group and two other GMs allows more flexibility to bring in detailed art, tokens and maps, more intricate and challenging puzzles and a better all-around experience. The campaign is intended to start in early March, depending, of course, on player availability and schedule. The first few sessions will be using a post-session payment model. This is not intended as a free trial, but if you decide early on that this isn't the right fit for you, you won't be out any money. Please send me a PM if you're interested in getting more information! Thanks for stopping by! Two's Company
Hey I'm intersted in playing. Im up to playing any type of character really. Though i'd prefer the wizard or the paladin
Hello, I would love to join in on this campaign I have a few friends that could join depending on how many players you need to fill the roster. I can provide about 4 players including me. The other players are rather new but i have ran them through some of the basics of game play and character creation so they may need some better guidance and i would love to learn more as well. Please message me if Me and some of my friends can join your D&D session. - thank you

Hi All, I'd like to reiterate my statement from before (to try to avoid confusion within this thread) If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about pay-to-play gaming, please send me a PM as we're trying to keep this thread reserved for inquiries related to the campaign. I am very open to discussion of your concerns in a more-appropriate location. :) Best, Two's Company
Hey there, I'm quite new to rolld20, but not to RPG table tops. Everything from basic DnD to Next (skipped PF), as well as many other RPGs. I don't yet have a character idea, but it wouldn't take long. I work every other weekend in a hospital, so it would depend on which weekends you ran, but I would like to join if you're willing to take along a roll20 newb. Thanks. Chuck
Update: Hi All. At this point we're full up! Please either post your interest here, or shoot me a PM if you'd be interested in playing with us. I'll get back to you if a spot opens up or we start running another group. Thanks to everyone for the interest! Best, Two's Company
awesome! Do you FRAP/stream your games, i would be interested in seeing a pay-to-play game preofessionally run
Celedal, We normally do not stream paid games, but... we have another campaign project in the pipeline (which will be starting up in early March), which we will be streaming. We'll be putting just as much work into that one as we are putting into the Howling Wilds, so it should be a good representation of what we offer. We will be putting up a LFP posting for it on the weekend of February 21st. The future project will be "standard" (not pay-to-play) but will have a constantly changing player roster, which we will start screening players for once the post goes up. Thanks for stopping by! -Two's Company
