Incorrect Distance Formula for the measuring tool.

I notice the the algorithm you use to calculate the distance when using the measure tool rounds your distance, but it doesn't appear to be rounding it properly every time (or calculating it correctly for that matter). For example click and drag it to the right until it says about 70 feet. Cool, now while still measuring move it along the y axis 15 or so spaces. So you now created a 14x15x20 triangle where your horizontal move was the 14, the vertical move was the 15, and the measure is the hypotenuse which is 20 units long. Now if each unit represents 5 feet in game, the measuring tool should report a measurement of 100 feet, but instead it says 75 feet.
Analysis: The method used to measure in the app right now assumes that diagonal movement is always 5 ft. At least in my D&D group, we use a "5-15" method, where the odd diagonal movements count as 5 ft, but the even diagonal movements count as 10ft. So, moving in a diagonal line would be 5-15-20-30. I assume this is what you are using?
Tim's analysis is correct. If you aren't using a square grid it uses a more traditional distance formula. We are planning to add in Campaign settings in the future so you can specify the distance calculation to use, but this is not a bug, it's currently working as intended. And I believe the suggestion has been made in the Ideas forum.
