New Player LFG, Shadowrun Seattle, Monday & Wednesday Evenings (6pm CT), new to TTRPGs want to learn

Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. I'm fairly new to TTRPGs (though I have done some forum-based RPing in the past), and would love to learn how to play :). I'm really interested in cyberpunk stuff, so I though I would ask and see if there was anyone running Shadowrun campaigns set in Seattle, (primarily due to the fact that I would like to go/live there IRL someday); that, and aside from Cyberpunk 2020, it seems to be the only cyberpunk-themed game people know about the most, or at least the only one that's listed in the "Looking For Group" search engine, lol XP (I'd ask if there are people who know of Serena Dawn's Ghost in the Shell TTRPG, but that doesn't seem to be the case). Sadly, due to my class/work schedule, I'm only available on Monday and Wednesday evenings after 6pm US Central Time. I've been doing research into the game over the past couple of days, and come up with a couple of character ideas that I would like to play as, the prominent two being and elven rigger who specializes in aircraft & drones and likes the mood of Smoky Trails bar/club, and a human decker who likes to use archery-based weapons (partially because I like the idea of people still using bows & arrows in a futuristic cyberpunk setting :P). If anyone could recommend me a group to look for or a place to start, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance! :)
Edited the OP to be a bit more indepth this time around, just to let you know. Apologies for the haphazard version I originally posted, gang; I was trying to get out the door to go to work at the time, so I posted the short-version to conserve minutes. My bad. Hopefully, this edited version is a lot more informative &/or appealing to potential readers. I look forward to hearing from you guys when you have the chance, and thanks for taking the time to check this out at the very least. :D
I am starting a game on sat 11am CST. It would be 4th. Im new to dming so be easy on me I'm thinking of just run a normal plane game I.E. very little marix and asrical plane.

Thanks for the invite, Alan :D. But, I'm afraid I won't be able to make it (my shift starts at 1pm on Saturdays, sadly). It sounds like the perfect campaign to ease into as a new player with little/no knowledge of Shadowrun, but I just wouldn't be able to make it at that time. Sorry :(. However, I should note that I'm thinking of opening up Sunday evenings after 10pm (depending, of course, on classwork and other stuff), so I'm going to see if I can find some way to achieve some flexibility with my availability. I really want to try SR out, since it looks/sounds like such a fascinating game with a lot of great lore behind it. Does anyone know a place/site/way for me to look at in order to read up on the lore and general setting of the world? I'd like to do more research into it if I could, in order to better build my characters and actually look/sound like I know what I'm doing (lol :P).
Also, just out of curiosity (as someone new to RPGs and Shadowrun itself), does this Seattle Supplement thing I found mesh/match-up with the official material at all?
If there's still room in Alan's game I'm open for that time on Saturdays' and I've got a few sessions worth of experience in Shadowrun and so far I have massively enjoyed playing 4th edition. If you have room open for a Rigger I'd love to join.

oh and to help JT out a bit, http://shadowrun.wikia.com/wiki/Main_PageThis is the Shadowrun Wiki though it doesn't actually have all too much info on Shadowrun's universe the best source for info is actually straight out of the core rulebook though 4e does have plenty of setting specific books that are still relevant. Also http://www.chummergen.com/ This tool really helps out making Shadowrun characters if you've ever used Herolab its more or less the same thing but free and there is another version for 5e though its no longer supported. and Finally that book does seemt match official Shadowrun material well enough, it is definitely homemade and third party and it is highly outdated ( " current " shadowrun games take place in 2075 while that one is 2063 just after the Surge events so there has been alot of developments in the lore since then. but for the most part you can generally get by without knowing all the lore as long as you ask first and grab the " common sense " quality in char gen. )
There is, just IM me or email at alandanielyoung@gmail.com

(Checks out Chummergen) Hmm... I'm not really a tech-savvy kinda guy (at least in the sense of scripting stuff that this appears to be based on), so I'm not sure how much I'd be able to do with this set-up. I guess I'm a little old-fashioned that way (lol XP). Maybe I should just by the 5th Edition and the companion ( Run Faster , or is it Run & Gun , because the latter actually shows up on Amazon) for learning about the game/character creation. Not only will it help me learn the basics of the game (I hear it's easy for n00bs like myself to learn with 5e), but it'll also fuel my love of all things cyberpunk/post-cyberpunk. On a possibly unrelated note, if I were making a Street Samurai, would it be possible for him to use something like this with his gear?
