When minimizing the player icons in the lower left from the settings menu to names only, no audio is heard. Setting them to small icons + names fixes this. It should be possible for names-only + audio
Hmm, I wonder if that is my problem. I have had issues with audio on Roll20 and as of yet, I can´t play roll20 unless I use Skype as my audio. I normally drop icons to name only to save on desktop space. I think that next time I will let the small icons sit and see if that solves my issues.
I should add that I am using Windows 7 x64, Firefox browser. However, everyone in my party including the GM has experienced this issue in our campaign, regardless of browser or OS used.
I've noticed that as well in the campaign I'm in. Whenever someone's tried to reduce it to just names, the audio is cut off and I've tried it myself with the same problem.
Well for my follow up games I tried the suggestion above and it did not work for me. I think it has something to do with my computer and/or driver settings :-(
I think I will have to try this with google hangouts to see if it is better.
