Allow Players To Create Tokens and Character Sheets

Is there any way to allow players to post their own tokens to control and make their own character sheets? I'd rather not have to make a character sheet for each player myself as a GM, or make everyone a GM so they can edit and see everything.

Only the GM can create handouts and journal/characters sheets and add tokens. You really just need to create a character sheet and once a player logs into the game for the first time, you assign them control. You can also create handouts w/permissions to the players as well. It's a little up-front work as a GM, but after that, the players have control over them. Usually handouts and character sheets are all that players need to have access to. You can use rollable tables with multiple images if your player's want to be able to change their token image.

Acatalepsy, As the GM you have to pick the character sheet template for the campaign in the campaign settings menu. Then after you create a character and assign it to a player, giving them control, they can fill out the character sheet attached to that character in the journal.

Acatalepsy, I understand your frustration. This aspect of roll20 was the hardest to get used to when my group moved here from another VTT program. I strongly urge you to read up on Rollable Tables as they're going to be your best friend when it comes to PCs who have summons and changeable familiars and the like. Link is here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Card_Decks_and_Rollable_Ta... They're also useful for having masses of mobs that have some nice variations: Get six zombie tokens you like make a rollable table from them, and now you can have a horde of varied zombies ^_^
