Including images in the Bio/Info for character sheets?

I'd like to be able to include images in the "bio" section of my character sheet. That way, I can put together a bare-bones character sheet with macros and attributes for NPC actions likely to occur during gameplay, but I can also take a quick snapshot of a statblock from the Monster Manual and have that readily accessible during gameplay. It saves me a lot of time while entering in statblocks. I found an earlier thread on this: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/392854/image-support-for-bio-slash-info-and-gm-notes#post-394923" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/392854/image-support-for-bio-slash-info-and-gm-notes#post-394923</a> But was unable to reproduce for myself. My guess is that the 'feature' has been disabled, possibly for security reasons?

That was a bug in the coding that got eliminated during an update. At this present time, you have the avatar and the token for images (unless someone found another method to include extra images in the text fields).

You can find an image on the web, right-click and "copy image". Now go into your text area and right-click paste. EDIT: that doesn't seem to be working anymore... at least on the Dev. EDIT #2: it looks like this trick still works for items in your library or found in the image search on the sidebar.
You could also create a handout with the snapshot of the Monster Manual statblock as the image, then place a link in your character sheet to the handout. example: create handout named "Hobgoblin" copy statblock image to the "Hobgoblin" handout. go to bio/info section of the character sheet and find a place for [Hobgoblin] This will create a ingame link to handout you created. Additionally, you can put a hyperlink to any entry on any webpage. Which edition/game are you creating these for?

I knew there was someone around that had another way to getting images into the bio text.

I give HB credit for the initial "workaround" It appears that one of our updates may have patched the loophole for web-based images, but copying the image and pasting from your library or the image search seems to work fine.
Well, for whatever reason, that doesn't work on my browser. (Chrome on a Mac.) Upload image to my library, search, right-click and select copy image, right click in text window, select paste. No go. It pastes into Gimp fine. Since it seems to be an unintended feature, I ain't gonna bleat about it too hard. Just have to put it in as a formal feature request. For the time being, maybe just embedding a clickable link to the library image is my best bet. I'm running D&D 5e, so there's no SRD or anything similar. If that were the case, I wouldn't need to be taking snapshots of my MM with my phone...

Safari is usually the mac browser. Any particular reason for not using it. If you want to then give it a try and see if it works for you.
