Hello players, I have been running a 5E campaign for 16 sessions now, next week will be the 17th. We play from 1pm to 6pm GMT on Sundays every week. If that fits your schedule read on. Wanna play? I just want to know a few things: Can you attend every Sunday? Obviously occasional absence is fine, but attendance is the hardest thing to maintain for these internet based games. Do you have skype and headset? We play with voice only. This is a requirement, not an option. Last Requirement: Age 16+. I believe all my current players are 20+ and adult themes and jokes, gross descriptions of wounds and so on will be a part of it, so for my own comfort, I would like 'mature' players. What Character do you want to play? The party has 1 paladin, 1 druid (of the moon), both have heals and are very tanky so you can be anything you want, dps, tank, control, support. Anything will fit. The 3rd player just lost his character so you will be one of two new characters joining up, but the only new player. Play style? Mostly curiosity and so I can mix and match the players. What experience do you have? You don't need any, this is just for my own reference so I know how fast I can go, how much help you might need making characters and so on. Answer the above questions, and you will be considered. If I am interested in talking to you I will send you a private message with my skype address and we will have a chat sometime during the week, probably between 7-9pm gmt anytime from monday to friday. Ideally, applications close on friday. I would rather not have any last minute rushing. Questions can be left on this post so everyone can see the answers. Notes on the campaign I have changed the resting rules a bit. Players gain no health from short rests and can only spend one hit die on a long rest without a medical check and even then can only spend half their hit die per day. This is to help magic healing feel more useful and when the players are pushed, to make them feel the pressure. If you don't get rest, and you are out of spells, you will be feeling the pain when enemies are on your heels. Falling regaining consciousness leaves you with 1 stack of exhaustion. Flanking or outnumbering your enemies 3 to 1 gives you advantage. Magic items are extremely rare. You will not have any when you start. The two surviving characters have earned a 1 or 2 each so far. The area your character will be in when he meets the party is at war with an undead horde, the source of which is unknown. This is not the focus of the campaign but rather a side effect of the BBEG. The BBEG is also unknown to 99.99% of the world, and currently only the druid knows about him, so thats all I will say. The area is a small merchant kingdom known as lakeland, and is run by the Lakeland High Council of merchants. Ok. Thats all. :) Hope to hear from you soon.
