D&D 5e - Rolls 2 values

This has probably been asked but i can't seem to find the answer. I'm using the D&D 5e character sheets, and whenever a player does a roll off their sheet (attacking, casting a spell) it shows two rolls with a | between them (Example: 13 | 22). Does it roll twice to account for advantage and disadvantage? Or is some sort of setting I left on? Another quick question, when I hover over a roll to see where is got the total roll from, the text box is huge, confusing, and full of different values, is there a way to get a simpler version of this? Thanks in advance!
@Ryan Here is the wiki page for the sheet: https://wiki.roll20.net/DnD5e_Character_Sheet And in the FAQ section here is your answer: Why are there two rolls when I make an attack, save or ability check? Every attack, save or ability check roll is deliberately made twice to allow for ease of use with the advantage/disadvantage mechanic that comes up frequently in 5e play. The intention is that if you are rolling with neither advantage or disadvantage then the second roll is ignored and only the first roll is used. If however you have advantage, then you choose the highest of the two rolls, and if you have disadvantage then use the lower of the two rolls.
Thanks Kevin, I've just started using Roll20 for the first time and it's fantastic.
You're welcome. Regarding your second question involving the tooltip, this is currently the design. The tooltip simply shows the result of the entire formula rather than the derived values from the autocalculated character sheet fields. It is a limitation of the system it seems (one that I hope someday will change, but we will see!). It is confusing, but please realize that the math is correct and once you figure out the sheet and run some tests you will feel comfortable with it enough that when you hover over the tooltip you can relatively easily pick out the roll and if necessary reference the sheet directly to determine the bonuses.
