Luxanna: The Goddess of Light Alignment: Neutral Good Domains: Light, Healing, Good. Other Names and ways to address: Her Divine Brilliance Her Radiance The light that envelopes all Her Warm Embrace The Mother Her Luminescence The Lady of Light Luxanna is major god in the pantheon. When she manifests, she appears as a svelte woman made of radiant light and loosely covered in shifting white cloth. Her holy symbol is a cross enclosed in a circle, usually painted in yellow or gold. Her Holy Weapon is the shield. In ceremonies, a serving plate that represents the Shield is often used. Tenants Luxanna’s tenents preach equality, generousity, and fairness. There are few religious texts in that regard. The Church of Light, Luxanna’s most dominant church, encompasses many sects and schools of thought. In that manner, the Church lacks a proper uniform direction. This is due to the lack of detail in her teachings, which are open to interpretation. However, because of her universal appeal, the Church of Light enjoys the widest and largest amount of worshippers in the world. Orders The most prominent order in service of Luxanna is the Order of Cleansing Light. They are a centuries old order who had a focal role in the Liberation of Ormere from The Empire of Dalaria. Their leader during that campaign, Charles De Lumiere, was given the divine right to rule the liberated land and spread the Word of Light and act as an unbreachable wall against any future incursions from the Empire. Thus the first of the long Royal line was instated.

Luna, The Goddess of Magic Alignment: Neutral Domains: Magic, enlightenment, lore. Luna is a Major Goddess in the pantheon. She was active in the age of creation and had a circle of disciples through whom she taught magic to the world. She manifested frequently, often in the form of a will-o-the-wisp or a raven haired pale woman in a starry robe. Luna “disappeared” at the climax of the Verbantte rebellion, which caused the Infinite Tower, which connects the world to the Astral Plane, to shut down. Although she does not communicate with mortals anymore (to their knowledge), she maintains a small following, particularly in Lunaria, the city she founded, and even then it’s mostly amongst mages, intellectuals, and loremasters. Luna encouraged her followers to work diligently to pursue knowledge and self-improvement to reach enlightenment. She believes that knowledge and magic are part of life, and that, like any aspect of nature, is unaligned when it comes to morality. It’s in how you use it.
Solarius, The “God” of the sun. Domains: Light, Fire, Law. Alternate Names: Emperor of Dalaria Lord of the First Flame The Sun King The God Who Walks Amongst Us Sol is a minor god that resides on the material plane of Aeterna. He rules over the Empire of Dalaria from its capitol, Sol. In this theocracy, his word is divine law, and the church are his enforcers and overseers. Nobles are given the right to rule their towns and counties. Sol believes himself and his people betrayed by the rest of the gods who shut the material world away from the rest of the multiverse. He seeks to reestablish that connection and join his people with paradise. This is known to any who study his faith. Sol is the most well-known deity figure in the world. Other religious shun his existence, as most teach that the gods do not directly interfere in the world, much less live there. Some even question his status as a deity. However, Sol can and does grant spells to his clerics. Piety is one of the paramount virtues in his followers. After that it is followed by the courage to face life’s trials, and bravery in the face of the enemies of the faith. They believe that those who don’t believe in Solarius are heretics and are not to be trusted. At best, a Dalarian will ignore the difference. Often they will seek to persuade people of their religion. However, given the Empire’s war-like past, a violent confrontation is sometimes inevitable. His current whereabouts are unknown. His clerics have not received spells for almost a century since his defeat.
