Library getting transparent and stuck

So I'm trying to set up a few maps. To find them, I have to load the whole library, as I have no idea what I might have tagged them with, if at all. Suddenly, when I drag an image onto a page, the library becomes transparent with all the images vanishing. I can still resize the library window but nothing else. The map itself won't show on the page until I reload. After that, I can also re-open the library but then need to spend 10 min to scroll through the silly thing again to find my maps. Just to have it repeat the problem. The last map wasn't even on the page I tried to drag it on at all. I am supposed to run a game in a few hours, and this is giving me a real headache.
Is there any chance you could get the console log contents when this occurs? Also, if you haven't yet, can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem.
