Looking to start a "pick up game" 4E group

Looking for players who are down to create our own campaign for 4E. Update (5/15/13): I'm thinking, we create (or use an existing) town/region and quick adventures that can be had. I came up with the idea because I've noticed even despite the convenience of roll20 - coordinating with players to have a game has been impossible for me in the month I've been on here. So I wanna' have a group of players who are down to just play whenever they login as long as there are 2 or more players. I'm always down to DM and PC simultaneously and if I can get enough people interested I'll even set designated hours for me to be on as DM for folks. I'm just eager to play an F'ing game already, lol.

Hello Vincent, I am completely new to d&d and I've been looking on this website to find a DM to help me with setting up my first character and starting a game. I was inspired to start playing d&d because of my friend who told me to watch the itmejp livestream on twitch.tv, anyhow, me and that friend are both eager to start playing our first game but we have no idea where to start and what to do. If you would be willing to take two rookies out in the wilderness and hold our hands a bit while we take our first steps into the world of tabletop gaming, please send me a message. My friend and I are very creative and strategic and I think we could play a good game if we were told how things work and what we should do first because we're in the dark right now. Hello, Ivar. I'm not trying to swoop in on Vincent's potential PC, but I am currently part of a group that plays fairly regularly. Tomorrow will be our 4th meeting in two weeks, which is about what we'll average (best guess). All four of the current party members are new to newish with D&D, so you'll joining a group that isn't much more experienced than you are now. However, we are currently level two and my DM may not want to incorporate two more people into the mix. I will check with him and see what he thinks and will try and have an answer for you sometime today (if you're interested). Assuming you guys can join and the DM is cool with it, I'd like to run over some quick rules and regulations in a practice game so that you aren't completely in the dark. Let me know if you're interested, and pray that the DM is down for it!

P.S.- The fighter/cleric combo would be perfect for our group, so I should be able to convince the DM that it's for the better.

Hi I am looking to start playing through Roll20 and although do not have very much experience playing 4e (in fact limited to listening to penny arcade) I am familiar with the lore. Would be happy to join any game as long as they don't mind showing me a bit of patience while I learn the mechanics. Currently GMT -5 and anytime at the weekends would be best for me.

Oh I forgot to state that both Ivar and I are from the Netherlands and we are GMT+2 currently I think (CEST anyway). However we got loads of free time at the moment during holiday (and finals that have just finished for me), that is to say we have no problems making it late :).
