Roll20 & Heroclix

Hello everyone! I used to be a very avid Heroclix player. I stopped for a while and am working on getting back into it again. For those of you who dont know what it is (probably 99.99% of you), we like to label it as "Chess with Superheroes". It is a minature game where each figure has a set point value and players can build teams for different point values depending on the scenario. Each figure has a dial with a certain number of "clicks". Each click has a set of stats and powers that currently apply to the figure. That is a very (very) short summary. The maps are all grid based which made me think there might be a way to get it to work with Roll20. Any ideas? Is this feasible?
Yes. I make tokens of heroes and put their dials in handouts. Not fancy but it works.
Yeah. I was trying to think of a fancier way to do it. :)

Hello. There was another thread recently about heroclix and how to work them in roll20. The general consensus was to use a 3rd party program (gimp or such) to make a token with each click value shown. This would be 12 tokens for 1 hero/enemy. You would then make a rollable table for the hero with each entry being one of those tokens. This would give you similar functionality to being able to rotate the dial as needed. It would be lots of upfront prep but it is doable. I'm on my phone otherwise i would find the link for you also.

Thanks Alan. That is the thread I was talking about. The API thread was for if the poster went to mentor level to get the functions he wanted. My original post was based on a misunderstanding of how clix worked but the rollable table feature was discussed and for the free account level it is the most workable option. Still lots of prep work but it is doable.
