Shadadowrun 5e combat macro help please!

Hi Guys GM new to 5e and using the installed character sheet. it doesn't help that I am not that used to the ruleset but using roll butons for combat on the sheet seem to bear no resemblance to the rules. Well to me anyway! Is there a kindly Shadowrun GM that can spare a few minutes and join me in game to show me/help set up. Or failing that prepared to paste some 5e combat macros here. I have looked around the forums and the web and can't seem to get anything to work? Hope you can help! Martin

Can you elaborate on 'expectation' versus 'reality'? IE, what buttons are you pressing, what are you vaguely expecting to have happen, and what actually happens? At a guess, I'm betting more numbers are showing up than you expected, but I'll wait for your elaborations. Additionally, a read through this might help: https://wiki.roll20.net/DnDNext_Character_Sheet

Thanks guys.. Just logging in now and will elaborate . And thanks for macros Mark
I was going to start the group (and me) on the Quick Start Fast Food Fight to demonstrate the system. It could be that simply transposing the pre rolled chars in roll20 it casing an issue...

OK I am pushing the large roll buttons at the top right of the sheet 'Core Combat' section. In particular if I click on the Armour button it rolls 0 dice, and if I enter a modifier in the Weapon Macro Box it rolls 0 dice.. It must be how I have entered things... Is there a way to get into the back of the sheet to see how things are calculated and where values are being pulled from?
If you run a macro from the charsheet, and then select the chatbox and hit the up button, it will print that macro.
