How can players start/modify character sheets?

I'm looking to start my first campaign and I want my friends to set up their character sheets. I am able to set one up but they cannot, even when I allow for import of a character sheet. I am using the 5e sheets from the community options. I have them assigned tokens as well that they can control. I just can't get them to make a character sheet that they can work off of.

Have you created characters in the journal area, and added the player's name to "can see in their jouranls" and "can be controlled by" areas?

To follow up: go to the journals, click on "add character" Click on that character. When its journal pops up, hit the edit button (located in the top right). The "can be seen by" and "can be controlled by" areas are in the section that pops up.

Very happy that helped. It took me a while to figure that part out.

That's two fer two! If this keeps up, people might actually start to believe I know what I doing.

And then I will have all fooled!
