For the first session, the Acolytes will have 400 experience to spend on the following: 1. Background Suite: You can opt to allow the GM (Me) to augment your character sheet with a suite of skills, talents, and traits based on your character's background. This will focus on highly customizing your character to fit a particular concept as written in the background. 2. Contacts from 'The Inquisitor's Handbook'. This will be the only time a character can establish pre-existing contacts with experience expenditures (or at least, for the time being). 3. The Acolyte Induction Packages: The players can choose to reap the benefits from one of the following: Corporeal Sanctification, Fate-Eater, or Daemonic Vanquisher background packages from the book, Daemonhunter. On top of this, the character will also gain the Writ of Authority trait Effect: Gain the Writ of Authority trait, and the Peer talent appropriate to the organisation the character serves, chosen from the following list (additional options available at GM’s discretion): Adeptus Arbites, Adeptus Mechanicus, Adeptus Administratum, Ecclesiarchy, Government, Inquisition, or Military. Writ of Authority (TRAIT) You are a legitimate and senior agent of one of the many organisations of the Imperium, and bear their authority. This Writ of Authority is often carried in the form of a symbol or icon such as the Rosettes of the Inquisition or the badges of the Adeptus Arbites, and serves as the physical proof of your authority. Gain a +10 bonus on Command and Intimidate Tests when dealing with those who understand and either respect or fear the authority you wield. You must be identified as an agent who bears a Writ of Authority to gain this bonus. 4. The characters may spend the Experience any way they want.
