Bjorn, Fighter (Cody) Silas(Solomon) Leaxle (Mark L) Tralann (Shalvenay K) Svava, Bard (Aurora) Prepared spells: Tralann; Hypnotism, Wall of fog, Invisibility Karmadel; 4x priest spells+ x3 innate detect lies and x2 innate fear Silas; Sleep, Shield Log: Party arrives into the enchanted forest: Karmadel feels that the forest is dangerous, and begins by trying to find evil. Though he’s not sure how well his sensing is working in the area, there is definitely a low aura of evil somewhere around. Silas head straight for a pile of large rubies, realizing the trickery of the forest far too late, and filling his backpack with large amounts of enchanted forest manure. Leaxle makes a successful herbalism check to find the healing properties of a large, pustule covered tree. Tralann moves to help Silas with the load in his backpack. Svava distributes pustules to the party for emergency. Karmadel surmises that the evil is underground, and moving as the party continues. As the party approaches a small spring, Karmadel falls under an enchantment of narcissism, drawn to stare into his reflection! The party finds a pair of bushes, then finds that they are the remains of previous victims of the spring’s enchantment, and some voracious local vines. After debating what to do with the plants, the wise decision is made to leave them behind. As the party delves into the clearing, they are beset upon by small, implike cupids! Caught by surprise, the party takes several crits, but manages to keep fighting. One after the other, the thirteen weak, but tenacious beasts fall. The party continues on, coming to a strange gate. Bjorn bravely takes the lead, stepping through, and suddenly becomes beset by a magical thirst! Finding no other option, Bjorn steps up to the mysterious cisterns, taking a deep drink from the fetid looking pool, which satisfies his thirst, at the expense of a small amount of personal preference. Silas follows, drinking from the same pool, but due to his disgust at the water, manages to slather it over his face. Leaxle follows behind, doing much the same as Silas, but this time, spilling it over his cloak! Tralann comes next, seeing the others, and opting for rose smelling liquid, soon coming under its affect, and falling for Silas. Svava comes though, and takes a daring drink at the gold vat! Unfortunately, this only ends up with upchuck, and a still parched throat, forcing her to drink from the rose smelling cistern, and fall for Tralann! Karmadel follows in last, stepping up to the fetid water, and drinking it dry, finding the flavor “aged and mature” The party continues on, encountering a strange magical creature, a dryad, linked closely to a tree. The dryad before them seems skittish and nervous, and ready to fight!! Luckily, the party manages to calm her down as a group effort, ending with an offer. The dryad would give a chest for ridding her of two problems; An ex-friend to the north, and a lycanthrope to the south! The party agrees, and sets forth, finding that their magical items begin to act oddly as they come further into the enchanted glade. After determining the source of the magical energies taking over their items and weapons, the party engages a strange foe; Thefaestag The faestag begins to try and knock people around using their magical items, no one seems to have full control of their movements as Svava and bjorn struggle to progress, and tralann’s sling is flung into bjorn’s face!! Once the party reaches the faestag, short work is made of it, revealing a hidden trove of items. After regrouping, and reassuring themselves that the magical equipment is back under control, they head south for the lycanthrope. Coming to a campsite, Silas and Tralann catch a glimpse of a beautiful werefox, beaconing to them, and they both fall madly in love! Seeing tralann fall, svava attacks, though the werefox nearly bites her throat out for it, missing as svava dodges. Karmadel uses a reversed detect magic to dispel the charm on Silas! Bjorn blindfolds himself, and uses svava’s guidance, and the party’s help to deliver a heavy critical blow to the vixen! As the vixen reels in shock, Svava slays the beast, though Tralann is still fallen for it! Tralann hypnotizes Karmadel, giving him a reasonable command to attack Bjorn! Karmadel chooses to use his god’s fear effect on everyone, but fortunately Svava counter songs the fearful yell. The party retrieves the werefox’s loot, then explores further to discover a terrible pit of toxins that took the life of the werefox’s enthralled half ogres. Heading back to the Dryad, she rewards the party with a chest of gems and coin.
