Vampire the Masquerade GMT+1 evening LF more players

Hey there! I am looking for more players to a vampire the masquerade 20th anniversary game set in victorian london. We are all new to the world of darkness in the group, ST included, but we have some basic knowledges and so forth, so world lore will not always be accurate to books and such and everything the ST says goes. Playstyle will be heavy on the RP so this is not a hack n slash thing we're running here. We will start off with human characters and depending on personality and history one of the kindred will sire you up to ST discretion. PC doesn't know a thing about the occult aside from tales and legends that most everyone knows. So far we are only swedes and a dane but welcome anyone that fit the time schedule, seems like a reasonable person, has understandable spoken english, is in this for the storytelling and drama, not the fighting and bloodsucking, and also that can pass a application interview of sorts so post a message here with your written curriculum vitae for RP if you think this might be your kind of gig, I'll hook you up with the ST and we'll talk on skype. I'm very much interested in talking game. I have played tabletop for less than two years but I have a fairly good range of experience going from D&D through Shadowrun to Dark Heresy, and lately I've been looking for a group that utilises one of White Wolf's systems seeing as those are more narrative and RP-based systems. I am very much so prepared to focus on the RP, seeing as combat elements seem to be neglected here; I have been lacking more RP-orientated games that are not D&D. I haven't played Vampire the Masquerade before, but I always make sure to acquire and read through at least part of the rulebook; I am glad to hear that I wouldn't be the only one with little knowledge of the game. I have a vague idea as to how the Storyteller system works already, though. I also think that my grasp of english is pretty good and that should not be a problem as I have not had complaints before. I do have skype and a functioning microphone but not a camera. Hoping to hear from you soon. Also, what day of the week would the sessions be?

What day would it be?

The day would be any non-sunday and non-thursday as far as I am aware, we are primarily looking for people with a lot of time on the evenings so we can play a bit whenever we feel like but can just as well set up days and times. A specific day and time has not been decided upon yet and the best would be for one or two set days each week and then whenever everyone is available on the side as a bonus!

Still looking for more! :) Also, saying that the focus is on story doesn't mean we won't have violence. It's very likely for there to be a lot of it in certain scenarios but it will never be the focus of why we are playing! Seems like that was a bit misunderstood

Oooohhh... a heavy RP campaign in my area. I have not played WoD in tabletop before, but I'll try to get as much of the rules as I can before the first session, and Skype can be done. Just can't do Sundays unless it ends about before midnight (but better to say I can't do sundays). Get ready for some good story

I've been skulking around in search of a fun vampire chronicle to join up on, and this seems very interesting. I live in the US myself, but my work schedule is pretty open, and I tend to have plenty of free time. I also happen to be a bit nocturnal, so the time zone differences aren't an issue really. Hi Markus! I am based out of Sweden as well, and I have a very open schedule at the moment. My RP experience started about 4 years ago, and the majority of what I've played is Vampire: The Masquerade, so I'm fairly comfortable with the system. I'm definitely more interested in story than in hack-and-slash.

I would really like to try the system (played it once but it was 3-4 years ago and 2 sessions) Mostly playing 40k roleplaying games. From sweden +1gmt. Have larped Vampire the masquerade 3 diffrent campaigns so its more the RP experience then the combat. Most my love is to the Ventrue clan. Thanks in advance hope to hear from you

Oh gosh! I thought the thread had died and didn't think more of it, the game is full I'm afraid! I am super happy that so many suddenly show interest but at the same time I can't really do anything about it so that's really too bad :\ And thanks for the tip Erzrig! I'm really new to the whole online thing with RPGs, mostly just done tabletop until about a year ago! :)
