My friends and I normally refrain from using a grid, as it makes combat literally, blocky, because of the grid.
I enjoy that roll20 doesn't force the grid, and honestly that is the only reason we are trying it. But it still has the problem of ranges.
Currently, we use large circle tokens, that we place on top of our regular tokens when we want to find out threat ranges, and that works ok, but it could be better.
What doesn't work, is movement. I want to 30ft, in a curve, around an enemies threat range. There is no way to measure out that curved line. It would be nice if you could, for example, just drag your token around, and it told you how long his pathing was from where he started.
Keep it going for everyone who hates the grid!
