Linking Characters to Tokens

I had the chance to test the mechanics. And a problem I found was that it was hard to change between tokens and Chars. Imagine that you have a situation: you have to look for an attribute in a char's sheet. you have to go to the char tab, then find the char, then find the attribute. ıt would be a lot easier if you could link the token to a char. that way you could pass to the sheet just by clicking on a button in token's drop menu. Also you wouldn't have to find that token or copy paste it every time you move your players to a new page/map.
I posted something similar as a comment on another thread <a href="http://community.roll20.net/discussion/2135/keeping-player-tokens-between-maps#Item_5" rel="nofollow">http://community.roll20.net/discussion/2135/keeping-player-tokens-between-maps#Item_5</a> --- What I would like to see is a way to link tokens to the characters you assign players. This could either be by assigning a token to the character directly and you could then drop that into each map. Or by allowing you to link the token to a character that has been created. Once linked a token would maintain all stat changes with the character, such that any other linked tokens on other maps would also be updated. This would allow DMs to setup the PCs in the starting area of each map and have their stats updated automatically on map change. ---
