Hey there, I'm a new GM looking for some new players for a New World of Darkness campaign that I'm running. I've currently got three players but would like to have two or three more, just to make everything feel more lively. I would prefer you to have a microphone and either teamspeak or skype. New players are welcome as it's an incredibly easy system to learn and my players and I are willing to teach. A little bit about the world: The Chinese colonized the west coast before the British ever got to America, the Native American populate north and central U.S. and only lost some of their land. The U.S.A. is composed of the south and the east coast. Lincoln survives his assassination and has become incredibly paranoid of even his own people. It's a high magic world and demons and supernatural occurrences are abundant and well known. There are three types of magic. Ley-line magic, opium magic, and benedictions (holy magic). Opium magic is chinese in nature. The chinese have developed a type of augmented opium called blue opium, which gives the user magical abilities. The magic is literally in your bloodstream. It's powerful magic and overdosing is common. Mutations from overdoses and excessive magical use are very common in Chinese culture, in fact the more mutated you are the more respected you generally are as a mage. Ley-line magic comes from native americans. They draw their magic from ley lines throughout the world and from nature itself. Native americans are skilled in dealing with nature, shape-shifting, and spirits. Holy magic is priestly magic, it comes from the gods (or god) of your character. From protection and healing to smiting the undead benediction make a paladin powerful. There are a group of people known as Texas Rangers who are skilled in hunting down and taking demons and other magical monstrosities, as well as people from the malice maleficarum. I run a very free game, there are no set classes. You decide what you want to be and we will make your character sheet to design it the best we can. I really like it when my players can be creative and think outside of the box. That being said, even though I'm generally very easy going I do not put up with rude-asses and people who purposefully cause drama and trouble. Tension within groups (your characters) is understandable. Right now we play around 7pm central on the weekends, firday or saturday, but everyone is flexible atm so it's open for change. If anyone is interested please feel free to message me or post here to ask questions. Thanks.
