LFG D&D 5E looking for players first time DMing Weekends

I decided to start playing D&D again but this time I have decided to try DMing because I have wanted to try. If you are a newer player that will be great because it will be a learning process for all of us. If you are more seasoned that will help as well to point out when I do things wrong. I plan on starting with "Lost Mines" and then try making a campaign or do a book to see how it feels. If you are interested it would be most likely on the weekends at about 8:00 PM PST.

I am stunned that you have not gotten 20 posts already. Welcome to the life. I have been Dming for 38 years. I like to help new Dms get started, but my weekends are locked up running one and playing one. But 5e would be good for a starting GM, and i am moving to another country to retire in a few months in any case, but wanted to say hi, welcome to the community. I wish you luck in this. we need more Dms around here.

Hello! I've been looking a game for quite some time and the way that you have set up your world sounds quite interesting. I've been playing D&D 4e for a few years now, and I've been looking to join a 5e game. I have the books needed, I've just not actually been able to find a group. As for my play style, I enjoy all roles weather if its the barbarian getting owned by everything in a 5 square radius because you have a group of casters (totally not bitter :p). Or a group of Sorcerers being beset upon by trolls, also a really fun situation. Or a party of Paladins who smite everything in their path (lawful good my ass!). :D

I'd be more than happy to be a part of this, seeing as how i have only played D&D once a few years ago, and even then it was the DM's zombie apocalypse version, so it wasn't really true d&d. My only issue is I'm over on the east coast. I have weekends off 95% of the time, so I would be available.

FAQ It will be on Sundays at around 8 PST I focus on Roleplay aspect with bits of comedy and serious but I won't ignore combat or puzzles. The first thing will be doing is " Lost Mines of Phandelver" because it is friendly for new players and new DM's. This is more like a One Shot so make characters that you might not invest want to invest in or we might depending how things go. If you have further questions or want to join just message me so I can keep it organized I will only have 5 slots.
