Private Soundcloud Tracks

I am not totally new to Roll20 but have only been using it the last month or so to run games. I have purchased some background loops and I'd like to use them for my games, however I can't seem to find a way to link my Soundcloud account to Roll20 to use these copyright protected audio tracks to enhance my games. Is there a way to play private sounds in the jukebox? Is there a soundboard feature available? I would be happy to upgrade my account for these features.

The closest net effect I think would be if you were to name or tag the tracks in question with very unique identifiers that will show up in a search. There's no way to 'Link' anything specific in SoundCloud other than through the search function.

I believe if you paste the SoundCloud URL for a particular song into the search box it will work (rather than searching for a name or tag). So although you can't link your account directly you can grab the URLs to make it easier.

What will be interesting is to see if a private soundcloud track could be found in the Roll20 search using the soundcloud URL. Or would it be blocked if it was set to "private" in Soundcloud account? Private setting for an upload is actually a fairly new feature on Soundcloud.

I tried a direct link. It showed up and linked it to the jukebox but would not play.

Hmm, I hadn't tried it with tracks on a private account... I guess it makes sense since Roll20 isn't logged into SoundCloud, still a shame though.

If you upload to S.C. you can specify whether outside sites can access it, or it can only be played on S.C.
