Mark's right. If Players go to the top-right of Roll20 (not in the game but just the website), click the dropdown menu that says Welcome YourName. Click My Account . There is a setting, "I want to receive emails for site notifications:" and you can receive the notifications daily or weekly, or never. If your players have the default setting of Daily email notifications.... then they will get an email within 24 hours when anyone posts in the Campaign's private internal forum. (NOT the LFG page forum). The technique is: Post "Game on, Game date & time announcement" thread in your campaign forum, it sends Notification which can be email notification. It's not exactly writing an email, it's more of a posting on your campaign forum which generates an email. Note that the Notification email is DAILY at the quickest, not instant. There is no way to send an instant email through Roll20. Be sure to post your "Game on" announcement at least 2 days in advance, so everyone has time to receive the Notification. I recommend posting 1 week in advance, and always post immediately after a game session ends, telling when the next game session will occur. Do your "Game on" thread in addition to setting your Next Game: time at the top of your campaign. GM's need to do both techniques to keep your players on-track for optimal attendance. There is no way to get your Players' email address automatically through Roll20. If you want to collect their email addresses and start an actual email list in your email program contacts, you would need to ask your Players "What is your email address?" (It would be best to mention this from the beginning, "Email address will be required to play in this campaign", I've had 1 GM who did that method).
