Additional Scale Measurements

Noticed while putting my Scion: Hero game together that Roll20 doesn't support yards as a scale measurement? Any particular reason? I'd love to see a scale feature for those systems that do use yards as their measurement.  In fact, since it's just going to add the number and not change unit (AFAIK, but correct me if I'm wrong), wouldn't it be cool if the unit could be defined by the GM? That way, regardless of system, regardless of unit - the play grid could be customized to fit. Thoughts?
+1 - I'd love for the GM to be able to edit the unit.  Savage Worlds uses the "inch" which is equal to 2 yards in game terms, but ranges are all referenced in inches. Might be kind of cool to have an alternate unit scale as available so that the primary could be displayed with the secondary as a parenthetical, like:  1" (6 ft).
This is related to a suggestion I made a while ago for adding in measurements like light years for galactic maps for sci-fi campaigns. And I agree that letting the GM set their own text as measurement labels for individual pages would solve the problem nicely. This would give a lot of flexibility for creating overland maps for fantasy campaigns measured in "days by horse", for example. +1
