Google Hangouts

Ok talk about a frustrating thing. I am completely lost when it comes to this service. I can find groups and stuff but not hangouts. I have watched some of the Youtube videos and of course none of them are up to date. Anyone else having an issue using them? I mean other than launching it from Roll20, that's easy. But I am wanting to take advantage of the group of people using Google Hangouts for roleplaying and not Roll20. Trying to dip into as many pools as I can to find the games I want to play. Suggestions anyone? I mean if someone wants to hold my damn hand, PM me with a time and a Skype nick and show me wtf I am doing wrong! With that said, thanks guys =)

Are you involved with Google+?  Most of the Google Hangout games (as opposed to the ones involving Roll20) happen via Google+ circles.  Joining a few communities for the games you're interested in would be a good idea to start.  This is also a case where its not what you know, its more who you know.

There's a Roll20 Player Network group on Google+ that might be of interested:&nbsp; <a href="https://plus.google.com/communities/111431620401101391472" rel="nofollow">https://plus.google.com/communities/111431620401101391472</a> It might make it easier to connect with other players who are using and streaming their games through Google Hangouts.

Ok I am VERY slowing figuring it out, but something that is really annoying is when you go to your community page, its lists the communities your in (groups), then below that is a whole crapload of suggestion communities (groups) you can join. I have looked, searched, Googled ,Binged, Youtubed and still cannot find where I can edit this tripe fully away or reduce its contents. Suggestions?

If I understand correctly, you want to get rid of the suggested communities on your google+ page? &nbsp;I'm not sure you can totally remove it, but if you mouse over each of the suggestions, a little gray "x" appears in the upper right corner. &nbsp;If you click on it, the suggestion is removed.
