Possibility of closing Character sheet

When I played with the app, I couldn't close the character sheet to see the map- for the sake of this adventure it was a little frustrating.

From https://wiki.roll20.net/Roll20_for_iPad_and_Androi... (emphasis mine) The simplest summary of what these applications are aimed to do would be "things you hold in your hand" at an in-person gaming table. That includes: digital dice, character sheets, handouts, and rules (compendium). To tie these features together, there is also access to Roll20's text chat features. Not included in the applications are tokens, maps, voice chat, video chat, and other tabletop functionality. Roll20 for iPad and Roll20 for Android are usable both at a physical table and with the Roll20 virtual tabletop. The App is not intended to replace the use of the Roll20 virtual tabletop or a physical map. It does not include a map interface currently.
Okay. So it makes sense that once opened you can't close it.

I've not used it, so I'm not completely clear on if you're having an issue or if it is behaving as expected. Are you saying you see loading a particular character sheet and can't get back to chat or the dice rolling?
When you open the character sheet you can still bounce to the chat log where you chat, roll dice, and see initiative. So based on you description, it works fine.
