I think a toggle to prevent players from drawing on the map would be nice, just for those occasions when the party gets extremely off topic. Also an embedded PDF viewer/editor or some way to keep the character sheets on this site.
I would second the motion for being able to lock maps from player drawings. I ran my first game using Roll20 last night. On the start screen I just had a picture so my players would have something to look at before I plonked them on the map. They got a little silly and started drawing all over it. It was all in good fun, but I was suprised I couldn't lock the map down.

An embedded PDF viewer for dynamically sharing documents in a limited way (i.e., no dowloading) would be simply magnificent, and very much necessary for passing information to the players.
Locking the drawing tools was suggested and discussed previously. Here as well. We are of the opinion that this tool should always be made available to assist the GM and player alike on the tabletop.
It would be helpful if the players can delete their doodles. Currently the only drawing that people can delete is the freehand. Draw Shape, Polygon, and Text cannot be deleted by players. (Note: If this is a bug, I am using Chrome and so are the people I play with. We all have that problem)

It looks like it was discussed, but opinions varied. Couldn't the GM of the game decide if they want the players drawing all over the place?
Iain, it seems to me that is a social issue rather than a technical issue. If the GM does not want players doodling he can ask them not to doodle. The GM can delete all (or one at a time) doodles.

It is what I think. Don't take assholes on board.
But it only works for your "usual" group.
If you want to propose games to strangers, using the "looking for players" features, you could have a moron ruining your game before you can kick him out.
