Aura borders and customization

Would it be possible to implement an option so that only the border of a token aura is visible? (Rather like how, when drawing a polygon, you can either have a fill color or leave everything but the border transparent.) I ask this because even the lightest-color auras can sometimes obscure map details, especially if you get more than one overlapping. This option would basically create an adjustable "ring" around the token, allowing us to see where the aura ends but not tinting the bulk of the circle (or square).
