EDIT: I am now also looking for Saturday sessions. I've been interested in D&D for many many years but, only have a few years of actual playtime in. I started on 4e for about 2,3 years with 3.5e sessions inbetween but now, my main system is 5e. I've been playing 5e since its official release around 6/7 months ago back in the September region. I would say I am pretty experienced with the ruleset and I also own the PHB/DM Guide. I have no problem with playing almost any class save for Barbarians, Druids and Warlocks. Other than those three classes, I am open to playing any other and I have played almost all the other classes. I do have a preference for the melee classes over the casters but, totally okay with either. As for gameplay preferences, I enjoy all aspects of D&D aside from rolling saves I'm not proficient in. I'm a big sucker for great story telling with my preferences between role-playing and combat being equal. I just want to relax, have a great time and interact with my fellow players.
