Request: API Debugging

I would love it if the API would say which line number is has an error when compiling the data. Often I get typos and it takes a while to scour my code to find it.

Oh, sorry. I thought it seemed relevant as a suggestion for future improvements ;)
I would second this. In the case of a syntax error there's not really any useful information to go on. A line number would be a great help.

Josh, it is relevant as a suggestion, but it is more relevant as an API suggestion since API being actively developed my the Devs. They need this kind of feedback.  This is similar to the Mentor forum where mentors make suggestions there and they get to the head of the line. :) - Gauss

Most errors show a stack trace although it shows the line numbers as they relate to the concatenated script.
