Disable/Hide video link/avatar windows?

This may seem like crazy talk but we think we'd really like to try using the virtual desktop as our actual desktop! So far I've discovered how to hide the regular chat window and can switch my browser to full screen but optimal real estate would be achieved by hiding the video/avatars down in the bottom left. Just to be clear...one person GMing from one PC and the one player 'in charge' of moving tokens and the like (likely on a tablet) while the other players just guide token movement ...all being displayed on an old beater 42 inch flatscreen lying under plexiglass. Long story short...is it possible to hide those avatar icons?
You can set them to names only but that's as good as it gets I think.

In your campaign, in the sidebar Settings (Gear icon), you can hide the picture and choose "Name only". Each Player can also shorten their Display Name on this same screen. https://wiki.roll20.net/My_Settings#My_Settings On a related note you can also hide the Chat sidebar, with a little button at the top-left side of the chat that has 3 bars (near the zoom slider). If you want to hide even more (hide everything except the map/tabletop) -- often used for purposes of playing on a TV desk in face-to-face home setting -- I highly recommend reading this post called "Hide UI" with a special workaround from Aaron, https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1174957/hide-ui#... Read down to the bottom of that thread for additional adaptations.
Huh... I managed to miss that. Frankly, it does the trick nicely. It was just the big avatars that were taking up too much space. Now we are cooking with gas. Thanks Perry!
Thanks Gold...it seems that wording on what you think you're looking for and how it might match up with topics makes some stuff stay hard to find even when a body is looking.

That can be true, search only searches for the words that are actually used and there are so many synonyms. You can always ask though, and someone will probably know an answer and hopefully a reference or a wiki docs link.
Indeed. Well now I'm loaded for bear and it's just a matter of testing all the hardware linkages and we'll be off to the races. With any luck...goodbye dry erase markers! Thanks again ya'll!
