Small images in handouts

I'm attempting to insert small images (208x246, jpg format, for example) into my handouts and they only come up as a "image missing" icon. Moreover, this appears to be new behavior - my old handouts with small images are working fine. Did something change recently? Did I hit a glass ceiling of some sort with stored images? I also tried creating a small "test" campaign and inserted the same image into a handout, with the same effect - no image :(. Not sure what else I can try doing...

What method are you using for inserting it?
I've tried drag & drop and browsing. I've also found as of tonight that the size of the image is irrelevant - large and small images all fail. The only images that seem to work are tokens dragged from my filesystem. Character portraits and handout images are not working for some reason.

Are you taking about images in the top image space, or embedding images with the text in the lower section?

You have to have the images come up in the search on the Art Library tab of the right panel. So you can't drag them straight from your library, but instead have to do a search, find the image in the search results (results from your library will be on top), then drag THAT over to the note. Yes it is confusing because everyone says "drag it from your art library" but what they mean is only that panel of search results.

Wasn't aware you could embed images in the lower section (player notes or gm notes I assume is what you mean by "lower section"). chris b. said: You have to have the images come up in the search on the Art Library tab of the right panel. I used to be able to drag all that from my local filesystem.

Your local file system should be fine to drag from. If thats not working, we'd want to try the debugging process to see if we can figure out what's going on: Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you. There have been some ways of getting images into the lower section, but they aren't supported, more unintended side effects of the interface.

Richard O. said: Is that a new limitation? I used to be able to drag all that from my local filesystem. I meant both ways, from the file system (which adds it and also puts it in your upload area) or from the search results. I can't click on the star and pull up my uploaded files, and drag from that window, that has never worked for me. I can only drag from the search results, or from my local filesystem.

To that end, I found a similar problem in the bug reports and contributed to it here . I also found that this only affects me while running chromium - firefox still supports uploading images.

Ok. The bug report is the right place to pursue this then.
