question regarding hidden results

Hi guys, I'm a bit new to roll20, so there is still a lot I have to learn. I would like to know though, if it is possible to have a result that the players roll, be hidden from them and only shown to the GM. For example, if I have a macro for encounters, where players roll on a table, but I don't want them to be able to see the results, how would I do that? Thanks for any help you give :)

As far as I know, you need to use API for this, which requires a mentor-level subscription for the person who creates the campaign. Powercards do this well. Here's an example from the 4e campaign I run: /me looks around intently.... !power {{ --name|**@{selected|token_name} | Perception** --whisper|GM --Result| 0} A 10+@{HalfLevel}+ @{Wis} +5+?{MiscMod?} P }} When the character with this macro clicks the 'Perception' token-action button, everyone sees 'Character looks around intently...' and I see (This gives me the character's active (rolled) and passive (take-ten) Perception results)
You can do this on your side, if the players have their character Journals setup with attributes for what you want to roll. For example, if you have an NPC or trap, or something stealthing from your players. If they have their Perception modifiers stored as attributes, you can use your own macro to roll FOR them. /w GM NPC Stealth0} ) /w GM Player's Name:Perception} /w GM Player's Name:Perception} /w GM Player's Name:Perception} /w GM Player's Name:Perception}
Thanks for the answers, I'll dig around and see what i can figure out, and what will work best for me at the moment. :)
