Macro help!

I'm playing DnD 5E at the moment and recently acquired a 'Bag of Tricks.' This is an item that lets me summon one of eight creatures. I would like to write a macro that lets me roll a 1d8 to choose a creature and then show which creature it is. So it would look like this. roll [1], summon a [weasel.]

Sadly, this is something you'll need the assistance of your GM for. This is something that needs a rollable table, which can only be created by the GM. Information about tables here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Card_Decks_and_Rollable_Tables#Rollable_Tables
Oh thanks! I'll let him know.

I just made one of these for one of my players (who is already annoying by being a druid with wild-shape, a companion and summoning spells.) A rollable table with the roll embedded as an inline roll within macro, set as an ability and token action works well... just warn your GM that they'll need character sheets set up for each beastie too unless you are using the bag of tricks for added flavour rather than any in-game situational benefit. For reference this macro worked well for my player's needs: @{selected|token_name} reaches into a pouch and withdraws a small furry ball. Tossed to the ground it unfurls to reveal that it is in fact a [[1t[BagofTricks]]]. (with BagofTricks being the name of the rollable table (each entry in the table needs to be weighted accordingly))
