Two afternoon games looking for new players

Both games run from 3 to 6 Eastern time. The first is a fairly standard AD&D game, set in a 30+ year old home brew setting, called Gateworld. It runs on Tuesdays. This is an advanced game, but new players are also welcome. After about 5 years of online play, the present group is on the next to last preset mission of the setting. They are of low to moderate levels, but have done things that would have scared higher level players, and succeeded! I have been DMing for over 30 years, and they are the best group I have ever had! Its not even close. They have a Spelljammer ship they use as a mobile base, and, because of their prior exploits, are pretty much independently wealthy. Because of that, they no longer search for loot, and instead look for worthy missions. The one they are on now, is the next to last of the set missions in the setting. And in this game, the PLAYERS choose the missions they will take on. The setting is "alive", meaning that some things will happen whether the players are part of them or not, and those things CAN effect the players. It is also a more dangerous setting than most, as in most areas, the things you run into may be vastly more powerful than the players are. So this is no "beginner's game", tho beginners are welcome, but its suggested that they stay close to the more experienced characters till they learn the way things work there. This game started out as First Edition, but is switching to 3.5/Pathfinder rules, and has a number of house rules that make it a bit different. And, in at least two situations, we have made use of the "book of carnal knowledge", so while its not an "adult" game, it IS a mature one. New characters in this game are presently starting out at the 5th level, with good equipment and some lower magic items permitted. The second game is an infinite dungeon game, and is being used to train a new DM for the first game. It is a standard 3.5/Pathfinder game, with a base town that will grow as stuff is brought out of the dungeon. The primary levels are based on random rooms and tiles. But there will be a lot of sub levels to find, and anything goes in those. This game just started a few weeks ago, and is noob friendly. At least its easy for noobs to play. But, um, don't get too attached to your character! Characters start out at 1st level. Both games are presently stalled, as many have signed to play, but don't show up at game time. Its a rough time slot for most people, as it can be hard to show up if you have a job or school to deal with. So we are hoping to find some players that CAN show up to play in that time slot. If interested, get in touch with me, bansheguy on skype and yahoo, or leave a post on our game boards for Gateworld or Dungeon of Death, or post a reply here. And let me know which game(s) you are interested in. Oh, and if there are any experienced players looking for a challenge, and you know a lot of songs, you might want to try out the experimental Spellsinger class in the Gateworld game. The class uses music to work magic. Spellsingers START OUT at FULL POWER! The drawback, is that they start out with very little control, which improves as they gain levels. Low level Singers are NOT popular people! But you would be joining the group at a somewhat moderate level of control. There are no set spells to learn or pray for, and no real limit on attempted spells per day. However, miscasts are very likely, and bad ones can harm your own group, so a knife, sword, fireball, or arrow in the back is a real possibility if you do too badly.
Hi there! I'm completely new to table-top. Never done it before! These times work out fine for me since I work nights, PST. If you are willing to deal with a completely clueless player and are willing to help me get the basics, I'd love to give this a try! Thanks for the consideration.
I'm interested, I already added you on skype.
Hi Rick I've PM'd you and added you on skype and waiting to hear from you

The tuesday game is a nearly standard campaign game, and the thursday game is an infinate dungeon game. Both welcome new players. But in the tuesday game, new people should stay close to older players until you get used to the game, as a new player on their own can die very quickly. That group is very large right now, so they can protect new people well.
Hello, I am interested in playing some D&D with a friend of mine. We both have watched some live-streams of people playing d&d and this made us interested in trying it ourselves. We have never played before and would like to try out the Thursday game. We have quite a bit of questions so it would be nice if we could get started with an easy game to learn the ropes. We are very eager to start playing some table top games so maybe we can start this Thursday? =D Please send me more information on how we should proceed.

We play on a virtual table top, here on roll20. We also welcome new players, and will be happy to bring them up to speed. (Which is easier than it first seems!) https://app.roll20.net/join/107456/aPgtHw is the link to the game chat. Not sure how else to send invites here. it might be easier if you contact me on either Yahoo or Skype, as bansheguy, and let me walk you thru rolling up, if you arent used to it yet. I would also be able to better answer any questions that way.
Hi Rick! Thanks for the reply. I'll try to hop on Thursday and see how it goes. =)
