Looking for D&D Group to take in a newbie and teach

I'm very new to D&D and, I really want to start getting into it and start a D&D campaign with people who are willing to take in someone who is very new to the game. D&D fascinates me and I'd love to find a group to join in with, I can do weekends. I like in the Uk, but can't go out much or travel so, It'd have to be online.

Hi, I might be able to take you under my wing but I cannot give you a definitive yes or no answer right now. We have had a player drop out from our group which is leaving a fairly large gap. We need to discuss as a group what we would like to do when we next meet; how or if we replace the leaving player. The current players might have someone in mind to replace the leaving player - again need to discuss it. Even with that we might have an additional slot (which would make a total of 6 players + GM). We meet every Thursday night (GMT) between 8-11pm as a heads up and is not usually subject to change and we are currently playing a Pathfinder adventure, with myself GMing. Firstly, could you commit to a fairly regular attendance on a Thursday evening?

I'm also looking for a group to join and learn, if you have some time

We play Pathfinder on Saturday afternoons (EST), from noon until 6. It's basically D&D. We had our first session yesterday, and the plan is for a long term (years) campaign. Give me a message if you want to talk and see if you are a good fit :)

Also, its only fair that I get a reply from the OP first as this is his thread! My game group meets Thursday and we'll discuss and come to a conclusion about an additional player(s) then. In the meantime, if you can't find another group, please be patient and I'll let you know the outcome soon :)
