Do You Use the Video Option In Your Game And Why?

Just wondering how many of you gamers actually use the Video Option, and what do you believe it adds to your game. 6 or so Images of guys heads wearing headsets, does it really add to your game, I am just curious.
Nope. Name only, but mostly to have as much space as possible to play.
For me having the video gives a better sense of feedback. I've played for years in Fantasy Grounds without it and I'm now enjoying having it. I'm in a smaller group and there is a lot of friendly banter too, so I wouldn't say it was "6 images of guys wearing headsets"
In addition to this, you know who is talking.
Of course I use the video option, I don't see what people are so scared of. We all used to get around a table and do this. I would say 80% of the gamers in the two games I play with also do and I find myself naturally drawn to liking those players due to that i can see their expressions.
Nope, just audio. None of my group have a camera in the first place (so we can't have video), but I wouldn't use it in any case since it takes up valuable screen real estate and doesn't offer much in return.* We generally use chat for all in-character dialogue and limit voice discussion to rules questions and chit-chat anyway. We don't have plans to use video - the built-in audio is more than enough. * It's actually one of my issues with Roll20 and some others - the map area has non-game... stuff ...covering parts of it. As a result, I keep it all minimized as much as possible. If I could have the toolbar, macro bar, and video doodads in an area separate from the map (like in a left column) I would find that much better for usability.
Chris, I know you don't like google hangouts, so I do understand that, but I like the way Roll20 is integrated with Hangouts over how it naturally is. All of the pictures are below the map and are actually far smaller and less intrusive.
Well, that's cool - I can't remember if I said it elsewhere, but I couldn't actually get it to work when I tried it in Hangouts after the initial integration announcement, so I never tried again.

My group use video chat. When we're in an RP encounter, I like being able to see people express and be animate and I believe my players like seeing me act like a goofball while in the GM chair. I can use props to get my point across like an old fashion in-person game. The other bonus is that its immediately apparent if a player is confused about the UI or with a rule, because you'll see their perplexed expression long before they'll speak up about it. We also found that my players will use the built-in chat alongside video chat. They use the chatroom for in-character banter that I don't pay attention to (unless the players feel they need to draw my attention to it). This gives my players the chance to all act at once in real time without completely derailing what I'm doing at any given time. - It replicates the real world scenario where a GM is talking directly to only one/two of the PCs in a party while the rest of the group can talk(conspire) quietly among themselves without interrupting the discussion.
I use Video when possible because I do like to act things out a but while I'm GMing so it helps. I think it also helps create a better atmosphere. Reaffirms the fact that you are playing with people and not just voices coming from the speakers. It does also help to see people's reactions while gaming too.
Reaffirms the fact that you are playing with people and not just voices coming from the speakers. Wait...you play with other people ? Holy crap, I knew I was missing something (all my players are just sock-puppet accounts...it's all me, always. I don't use video, I just use a mirror). :D

Hey guys, since this thread doesn't pertain to a suggestion, I'm going to (try to) move this over to the General and Off-Topic Discussion forum.
When I played in Fantasy Grounds I would sit in my chair for the full 3 to 4 hours beavering away at the keyboard. No I find myself standing up and gesturing (just like at a real table)! :)
