Combat Strategy

So, I was wondering if we could possibly get into like roles and assignments during group fights. Obviously we will have some curve balls, but for the casual fights I think we should develop some form of teamwork to speed up the combat process. My ideal team strategy would look something like this: Strider -- (A) Always pick up the hardest hitter first. (B) Allow the ranged/weaker combatants to get into position before engaging in combat. Dengur -- (A)Pick up the lesser mobs and tank them (B) Maintain line of sight with allies (C) Heal unconscious allies. (D) Heal allies that drop to 25% health. Draxell -- .(A) Go after any ranged fighters to provoke disadvantage on attacks. (B) Pick off the weakest enemies if there are no ranged combatants. Klein -- Prioritize targets in the following order: (1) Flying or climbing creatures (2) Bosses or heavy hitters (3) Cannon fodder Willow -- Prioritize type of spells in the following order: (1) AOE spells on mobs with 4 or more creatures (2) Cantrip spells on lesser mobs (3) Single target spells to Bosses or heavy hitters. (4) Utility or crowd control spells on tanky opponents that are not bosses. Please let me know what you think your character should do, or would do in combat. I think the biggest two reasons why I brought this up is: Disorganized combat (as proven in our current situation) and also only 3 hour sessions means we need to rush through combat if we want to roleplay or have more story time. This will also bring a group dynamic to our team making us actually feel more in sync with one another, possibly open up doors for additional roleplaying by building chemistry, discussing combat maneuvers, or even praising each other on how good of fighters they are. So, I'm interested to hear other's feedback.
I think strategy is something that will develop over time and is something we should discuss during roleplay. As for how you would strategize(sp), I don't like the thought of chasing down ranged targets. My character is more mele based than ranged, Klein from my understanding and from what I've seen is a ranged ranger. As for how you would like to see the others play, I don't think its a bad set up, but maybe that's not how their characters think. I think coming up with a strategy in a forum is a little like meta gaming, kind of like playing a mmorpg and getting your guild/league together to come up with a strategy for this weeks raid type deal. This is just my opinion though.
You always want to put a melee fighter in a ranged fighter's face so they will have disadvantage on attacks. We can discuss these things in game as well via role playing. I am just speeding the process up a bit. This would be kind of like a simulated in depth discussion between players where as in game we might sit down and talk about tactics later. When we sit down and discuss tactics Strider could just say; "Okay, from now on when we fight, I'll go for the big guys that hit hard. My armor can withstand even the mightiest of blows." Then a response from Draxell would be, "That sounds like a plan, I will go shred down those pesky archers in the back. They can't shoot us very well when I'm right in there face slicing their bows and heads in half." Draxell then chuckles in a harsh tone that sends chills down the spines of those in the tavern.
and dengur would be busy drinking, and trying to pick up some random chick in the tavern to focus on strategy. :p
