Very new player looking for Pathfinder, Evenings EST

I've played tabletop a handful of times with out of town friends so I know the very basics at least.  Hoping for a group that actually roleplays and problem-solves a little rather than simple hack and slash.
If you are willing to try harnmaster game mechanics let me know and Ill check with my group.  we are just starting a campaign and will play once a week on nights all schedules meet.  You sound like the type of player that we are.  Hack and slash in this game = dead player as likely as not.
I'm not really sure what harnmaster is.  I mentioned pathfinder because it's the one I have a couple books for.
Harnmaster has no levels, no hit points, and no classes.  It is designed as a pure skill based system with a high level of realism.  You do not take 10 points of damage you take a serious edged wound to the right forearm.  Combat is deadly even to advanced characters so your play style sounds well suited for it.  The game is complex for the GM only.  Our current campaign is based in Germany during the Holy Roman Empire starting in 1223 AD.  If makes no claim to follow history form that point forward.  It incorporates magic as seen by the people of the time and attempts to work within the peradigm of the medieval mindset Currently we have three players plus me GMing.  3-5 is about max party size or the game bogs down in combat.  We are just starting tonight with a prelude chapter I've lain out for the players to get a feel for their characters.  So if you have an interrest let us know and we can see about letting you jump in the deep end so to speak or just listen in on a game and test the fellowship of the players.  If not then we do wish you success in your search.
If Pathifinder is your interest, perhaps we could work on putting a group together
