Pretty amazing luck there last night, I looked again at the stats, there were 7 summoning screams, one was successful and got 2 additional Slaad. By the raw numbers 2.8 should have been successful yielding 2.5 Slaad per summoning, so there should have been 9 total Slaad. Actually killing the 4 you did encounter was a triumph however you look at it. 66,000 XP was a wonderful haul, although Ragnar was already considering what his next character would be. The luck turned on you when the Trident of the Lizard King shattered a few minutes later after hitting the Stone Golem. Ragnar now has some serious shopping to do, he needs a large signature weapon.
