Continued: Allow players to see the history of the rooms in which they have already been?

I read through Phil R's post on allowing players to see what went before. I found the following solution satisfactory for my games. 1. I make a handout for each room on the map with player and GM room descriptions, and I include a screen shot of the room in the handout. The handout is not available to the players until it is explored. 2. When the players are done exploring the room, I update the description (room state and knowledge garnered) and I make it viewable by all players. 3. When a player wants to revisit a room, they can open the handout and see the description, latest state of the room, and even an image of the room. The player never need to traverse the map back to where they where before.

That is a good method, different alternative to using Fog Of War (and dropping Light tokens for those who use Dynamic Light). Thanks for sharing your tips! Would it be ok if I move this to the General On-Topic subforum, since you don't really have a Specific Use Question, but more of an answer / tip?
Certainly. Glad to spread the joy! --Falsoon
On more tip on this point: If I don't have a characteristic picture of the room, I take a screenshot of the room I built on the map, and include that in the handout. It is wasy to see from the Journal list which room is which, so they are easier to find without opening each one. -Falsoon
