Seriously, there is a marked lack of Gamma World games (one shot or otherwise) in evidence around here. What makes it such a rare find? It can't be because it's over the top. Almost all (please note the qualifiers) flavors of DnD are medieval gamma worlds if you look at them from a certain perspective. Why is it only for the chosen few?
