SYNOVIA; "Miro, what is troubling you? You are not acting like yourself"

Edited 1431830791
Miro looks down continuing to wrap the broken leg of a small child who was caught beneith a building that collapsed from the fires the goblins started. He looks up and his eyes are still as hard as cold steel. "What troubles me. Your town is in flames and many people need my help." He looks back down to the child after placing the splint. With the aid of magical mending he turns a limb to a crutch and helps the child up. "Take it easy and the bone will heal little one. If the pain becomes too much seek the father of your abby and he should have a tonic to help." Miro stands and brushes the dirt from his robe. He looks up to Synovia. "What bothers me is men seek to court a woman amist all this chaos and it requires me.... Me, a forigner from the desert to check his advances. I look about and all I see is pain from those who attacked this village. Pain caused by the same creatures bobole tried to save. I stuck my neck out at the risk of having it cleaved from my very body and I am repayed by being attacked for trying to save people who only sought to have alittle bit of joy." Miro continues walking to the temple where the majority of those who are and were injured in the attack. "And as to the question of myself? What is it you know of me Synovia? Honestly I came here on a boat just the day before. I have supped at your home and slept in your beds but a night and a day. What exactly is beyond my norm?"
Synovia smiles sadly at Miro, "you are right, I have known you but a day, however, I have known many who have been slaves, as you, and none of them have had the spirit of hope, and wonder that you do my friend. Even now when you are hurt and disappointed, your spirit shows through. The way the sound of your voice calmed that child and soothes those that have lost much tonight, can not be faked. No one would have stuck up for the goblin as you did. Could it be that maybe that is what hurts you the most? You put faith in him and he let you down. As for the noble, he was not really courting me, he just wanted to cover his embarasement over haveing to be rescued and his greif over the loss of his faithful friend"
Miro makes his way to the temple and the work there is astounding. People with tiny greivances all the way to those with one foot in the grave lay scattered about. The father and his clerigy doing their best but only a few being actual clerics having much more than just the skill to provide supportive care. Miro walks to the middle of the room and closes his silver eyes. A small pulse of white light eminates off his person healing many of the lesser wounds received. "All creatures big and small desirve atleast a chance. But the line is crossed when their chance ruins the chances of others. Bobole's actions can not be forgiven at a mere glance. While I am not certian he is even smart enough to understand. His actions could have cost more than just his own life. Yes in his own eyes he was being noble and helpful. But those that attacked this day were not interested in mercy, were they they would have given atleast to a few. No they danced about causing as much ruin and pain as they could. Also Bobole did not take into account those who had tied their fate to him. Should the sheriff come looking for him it will be my head tied to the chopping block aswell. I doubt that thought ever even crossed his corner stone sized head." Miro moves off to those who's wounds would not have been completely healed with his channeled energy and begins to work. His hands move with a quickened practice that shows he has been healing for a long time. Not just as a channeller of the divines might but as a worker of medicine. Binding broken limbs, Setting joints back to place, and nourishing those with a small kit pulled from one of the folds of his dingy robe. "I will do my best to provide aid to the people of this town, then I think I might have to leave before my head rolls across the sands right beside Boboles." Miro looks up to the newly christined cathedral. "I had come here to take in its beauty and offer a small prayer to commemorate the new building. It felt like what they wanted me to do. Now to see it christened in blood I could almost cry." He looks to Synovia his eyes hard as steel again. "Almost." With that Miro continues to move amoung the folk of the town doing the best he can.
Syvovia move along with him doing what little she can, fluffing a pillow, getting water, whatever she can talking as she goes. "What you say about Bobole is true. He acted without thinking it through, but think about what he came here to do. He wanted to save his people, but he is a child, He thought he could change not only his peoples view but ours also. Like a child he thought he could come in, and make a speech and everything would be better. To night he was confronted with the reality that it isn't that easy. He disappointed us, but we or I disappointed him. He asked me If I had to kill the goblins who were running away, and I didn't. As far as forgiving him, Consider this question, if a child disappoints do you turn your back and abandon him, or do you come along side and teach him?" She places her hand on his shoulder and says "As for you leaving, I would miss you, my friend. Stay, give us another chance. Don't worry about losing your head, I would not let that happen." She finishes speaking, smiles sadly and heads out of the Cathedral into the night.
Miro shakes his head as she leaves. He is not sure what slavery Synovia knew of but at that moment it was appearant that its nothing like Orasion. Because in Orasion if a child makes a mistake he is killed as to save his masters the trouble of dealing with his future mistakes. He moves on to more less injured people and then stiffens as if stabbed in the back as Bobole calls his name.
