A new player with english as 2nd language.

I would really like to try and join a group to meet some new people and have a nice time while doing some adventures. But the problem is that english is my 2nd language and I don't want to bother the other players just because my sentences won't sound so nice as the sentences of others and I am scared that I will be ruining the game for others because I will make some mistakes and sometimes use more basic english and in the end they will have to say farewell to me. So my question is. > Should I risk and try it? > Is there actually someone creating campaigns for people like me ?

Of course you should try it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Playing tabletop role playing games is one of the best ways to learn and practice English. Just be honest with the GM and tell him / her that you're ESL player (English Second Language). I'm sure that sooner or later you will find a game for yourself. Good luck!

Most games are pretty easy going about language. The biggest challenge for non-US players is the time difference. What is your native language, and where do you live? There are non-English speaking groups out there, if you search for them.

My wife is from Korea so Im use to it.. its no problem
