Question about Copyrighted Material and this Site.

Since there is no official RPG set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter and considering the nature of copyrights and money making, is it illegal for someone to run a virtual tabletop game based in that setting? This could go for other unoffical IP's as well. Just using something well known as a reference. Plus it's a pretty awesome setting, IMO Thanks for any help/info.

Creating a personal game (fan fic like) of a setting such as Harry Potter is permissible. You would get into trouble if you tried to profit based on that setting (selling artwork, selling a game, selling a module, etc).
I thought so. I just didn't know for sure if the guys/group/company that owns and runs this sight would have problems or shut something down to avoid potential problems. I have no intention of making money off of anything here.
