Interest Check: 4e or Savage Worlds?

Hello, I have books for both D&D 4th edition and Savage Worlds, I have a few ideas for a campaign in both systems, but would like to know which system would be of most interest to players. I do not want to try and start a campaign that generates no interest. Just as an FYI this will be my first time as a Game Master. If any would be interested in either system, please leave me a message here, and I will see which one gets more interest votes.

I'd throw my hat in for SW - would also be my first SW game.

4th edition all the way, as you are a NEW GM, it would be the kinder system to work with.

Just had an idea, not sure how brilliant it is, but I'm going to see about converting Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting to a Savage Worlds Setting. I hope this works

Or, you know, I suppose I could just go with the premade setting of Gaslight XD

Shaintar is a great fantasy setting for savage worlds with a lot of similar style to Forgotten Realms.  It is also available for Pay What you Want on DriveThruRPG.com right now including free to try it out and see if you like it, you can always go back and pay what you think it is worth if you use it. Here is link  Shaintar .  There is also a google+ group the writer is very active in and he is currently about to start a kick starter for more books.

Just grabbed Shaintar, it looks cool, let me tell you what all settings I have available that I can run: 50 Fathoms; Evernight; Gaslight; Hellfrost; Iron Dynasty; Low Life; Necessary Evils; Rippers; Runepunk; Shaintar (just gotten); Slipstream; Solomon Kane; Sundered Skies. And of course, I also have a few Deadlands settings, including: Classic, Hell on Earth; Lost Colony; Noir; Reloaded; The Epitaph; The Great Rail Wars; The Weird West.

Depending on day and time I would love to play some Savage Worlds.   I prefer fantasy so Hellfrost, Runepunk, Shaintar, and Sundered Skies are all great to me. I also love the whole Deadlands line and Noir just sounds such a great setting and perfect for the pulp action that savage worlds does such a great job of simulating.

I can not play saturdays, sundays, or tuesdays, friday's seems best so far, but it's really dependent on when people can make it.

I just want to apologize for not having been more active here. I've been wrapped up in preparations for (and then running) my Kickstarter for Shaintar. One of the huge key elements for my plans is the Justice and Life Campaign , which will massively involve the Roll20 system and G+ hangout. I highly recommend checking it out to see what I have planned and to see if you would like to participate as a player and/or GM. Thanks to everyone for the very kind words and support.
