Miro x Synovia

As miro begins to prep for bed the night of the dancing, unaware of the mistakes and to be made in the morning, Miro looks over to Synovia once his pallet is made. "Its not much, but I figured nobody else had thought of sleeping arrangements while on the road..... Of course I'm not sure I was expecting a city of tents to find us either." Miro looks down in thought for a moment. "You danced well tonight. It almost reminded me of home, at night once we were free of our days labor we would all congregate to the cooking fires and eat. Once we finished the nights meal we would all get up and dance and sing and play music. Its one of the few positive memories I have of home." Miro looks down silently.
Synovia smiles wistfully at Miro, "The dance also brings fond memories of my people. I can not imagine a life without freedom. I don't think I could bare it. My childhood was wonderful, until I lost my whole clan to the Goblin fires 5yrs ago. I tried to save them, but failed. I will not fail Sandpoint. The dances of my people have many meanings, tonights was a dance to celebrate life and friends, I could not have found a better partner.
Miro smiles. "I was not your only dance partener though. And while he may not have shown like a star he didn't to terribly Ither. I must ask why you spurn him so." Miro asks curling into the folds of his sleep roll. The nights here are much colder than back home. His tiny teeth chatter just abit before the warmth of his roll begins to settle in. "Don't get me wrong, he's a about as long winded as the trade winds themselves, but he seems genuine enough and there is something to be said about being able to take him should he ever make a mistake." Miro looks over to Foxgloves tent his eyes almost aglow as they reflect the moons light. "Would be better than the womanizing horncamel would it not?"
She signs, "He did show some courage, albeit misguided, but I'm not sure he and I have the same idea about those types of relationships. To my people, a man and a woman are partners, and confidants; I fear that his idea of a life mate is that of another trophy. There are many forms of imprissionment, and a guilded cage is still a cage.
Miro shakes his head. "Thats one thing I've never understood about you taller folk. All of you are so quick to assume the outcome's of a situtation instead of being brave enough to find out yourself." Miro smiles then. "Come now.. your brave enough to charge head first into a goblin attack, surely you arn't afraid to test the waters so to speak? Ah well in any road its late and I must get up in time to have breakfast ready. Goodnight synovia." Miro retreats further into his bedroll completely dissappearing beneith its folds and quietly drifts off to sleep.
Syn, gets an extra blanket from her gear and covers Miro, and then she goes back to her own bedroll. She whispers into the night "But a broken body heals quicker than a broken heart." She lays there in the dark for quite awhile before drifting into sleep.
