Date: 22nd Reaping, 690 CY Attendance: Clifton, Wulrakas, Virgil, Cat ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recap: Opting to loot some of the nobleman's belongings, the party begins to burglarize the man's home. They're briefly stopped part way through, however, by guards who heard the commotion from outside. Clifton dons the nobleman's clothes and changes his appearance to mimic the nobleman's features, and he successfully shoo's the guards away. Once they finish stealing, the party begins to venture around Gradsul. Cat wants a set of small instruments, so they trek to the nearby Promenade District. Using Suggestion, Cat is able to coerce the shopkeep into making her a small set of bongos for free. After this, they trek to a large building nearby. There's a line of people leading to the entrance; in order to cut in line, Clifton uses his powers to distract the townsfolk. As Virgil nears the front of the line, he's mistaken for an actor in what they soon discover is a theater. The entire group is rounded up and told to perform a scene from "The Sunless Citadel," with Clifton as the main lead, Virgil as the support, Wulrakas as the villain "Belak," Muesli as his toad pet, and Cat as Meepo. What proceeds is an interesting take on the classic story, complete with magical special effects and dramatic dialogue. Though it doesn't remain true to the source material, the crowd loves it.
