unit/grid resize

August 08 (13 years ago)
on my screen "width by height, 1 unit = 70 pixels", leading to rather big grids/squares. we should be able to change this ratio freely without changing everything else.

Go to your settings for your current map and look for "Grid: [X]Enabled, Size[1]" and change "Size[1]" to "Size[.5]". That should be what you're looking for.

Are you talking about the need to resize? You can just use the zoom tool if you don't want to resize anything.

well first thanks for your help.

i'm trying to make the grid match on a map i've already created using 25*25 (or 33*33 for some) cells, so it is a pain as i can't directly set a cell (or unit) size. as for the grid options, they just change the cell/unit ratio, messing with the cell size (that should stay equal to 5ft)

basically, i'd want 1cell = 1 unit = 5ft = [any size in pixels]
It is not possible now. Management of graphic scale and assets is the weakest point in Roll20 (which force resize your maps and tokens).

Maybe there are some plans to change that, but nothing definite.
