I'm looking for a
new player for my "Kingmakerish" campaign The campaign is based on
Paizo's Kingmaker adventure path for Pathfinder, but I use a homebrew setting
for it and have changed many things, so it only loosely follows the printed
books.
Kingmaker is a
sandboxy campaign where the players found their own kingdom and try to guide it
through various threats. Your character will be one of the leaders of the
kingdom. The game deals with sandbox exploration, questing,
kingdom-building and politics.
The current group
consists of 4 players from Sweden, Swtizerland and UK. All of the current
players have been in the campaign since the start. We play with voice chat over
Skype and use Roll20 for everything else. We try to play once per week, usually
Mondays, but sometimes Thursdays. We start at 19.00/7 pm CET (UTC +1, +2 in summertime) and end at 2300.
The style of the
group is moderately role-play heavy, meaning that in-character talk and
character interactions take up a big part of the time. There's not any shortage
of fights and other action sequences, but it is not the focus. We usually stick
close to the rules, except for a few houserules (such as no alignment, some
feat changes - mostly buffs - and some spell changes - mostly nerfs) and
frequent use of the Rule of Cool.
The campaign has
been going on for a bit over a year, and at the current pace it will take quite
some time to finish, so I'm looking for long-term commitment.
